Why Can’t I See the Clock-In/Out Button on Sprout Mobile?

Please be reminded that each Clock-In feature, including Geotag, Geofence, and Mobile Bundy, is activated per department.

Modifying an employee's department assignment within their Sprout HR profile may impact their access to these features.

If a department is newly added to the system, it may not yet have an active clock-in feature. As a result, employees reassigned to this department might lose access to clock-in functionalities.

When this happens, the employee will not see any clock-in feature in the Mobile App, just like in the image below: 

You may send a Change Request Form if this scenario applies to you so we can enable a clock in feature for the Department.

Finally, after the activation is complete, instruct employees to log out and log back into their Mobile App account to ensure the changes take effect.

Please note the following:

Geotagging

• Users can clock in/out on their mobile app anywhere.
• Please indicate the Name of the specific Department/s or, if All Departments, in the CRF
• We cannot enable both geotag and geofence in one department.
• All employees assigned to the said department will have the said feature once enabled.

Geofencing

• Employees will be able to clock in/out to a specific location within a configured location radius in Sprout HR web.
• Please provide the Department Name/s and the location to be paired with it (eg: HR Department - ABC Building) in the CRF
• We cannot enable both geotag and geofence in one department.
• All employees assigned to the said department will have the said feature once enabled.

Mobile Bundy

• A clock-in feature that only records the time in and out with no location, unlike Geotagging and Geofencing.
  Note: This will only work if the Geotag/Geofence setup is not activated and if Web Bundy is enabled (Web Bundy).
  

Additional note: 
If the biometric ID was updated, the employee may still be able to clock-in in the mobile app but the logs will not reflect in the Attendance Report or Attendance Management. To resolve this, the employee must login again in the mobile app so the system will recognize the new Biometric ID.
