How to Change the Sprout Biometric Fetcher URL

 

With most clients' migrating to Azure Cloud, it is important that you update your Sprout Biometric Fetcher URL to ensure all biometric logs are accurately re-populated on Sprout HR. For more information, please take a look at the steps below:

 

1. From Local Disk (C:), go to Program Files or Program Files (x86) then look for the folder name HRHUB or Sprout Solutions

 

 

 

2. Once you're in either HRHUB or Sprout Biometric Service. Open the BiometricService.exe with Notepad.

 

A.) File Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\HRHUB\BiometricService

 

 

B.) File Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Sprout Solutions\Sprout Biometric Service

 

 

3. Change the HRIS URL from http 

to https. Once done,  make sure all changes made are saved.

Note: If it can't be overwritten, just save it in the desktop and copy and replace BiometricService.exe in HRHUB or Sprout Biometric Service folder.

 

4. Restart the Biometric Fetcher. Click here for reference.
