Vacation, Sick, and Birthday Leaves are automatically added to the system with the Default Leave Plan. These automatically assign all regular and probationary employees into the plan including new hires. You just simply need to activate these leave types.
Here's how:
1. On the Maintenance tab on the dashboard, select Company from the drop-down list that appears.
2. If there is more than one company in your account, make sure to select the correct company before anything else.
3. Click on the Leave Types and Policies.
4. Scroll down to the Inactive Leave Types, then click the Activate button for the specific leave type you want to be activated.
5. Set up the rules for accruals and filing.
6. Click on the Save button.
7. A message prompt would appear. Click OK if you wish to proceed.
8. The Leave Plan you activated would then be added under the Active Leave Types.
