You might be wondering what exact Employment Status and date are syncing to Payroll whenever you change it in HR. Are they automatically saved in Payroll or do you need to click the Save button to sync the changes? Good news! In this article, we will show the exact status, status date, and whether the Save button should be clicked or not when updating the status in HR to reflect it in Payroll. Take note that changing the Employment Status is only applicable to Admin and Manager Dashboard.

The statuses that are not automatically synced to Payroll must be triggered by the Save button. Though most employment statuses are automatically synced, it is still advisable to always click the Save button when changing any status in Sprout HR.
