There are cases when the Expected Separation Date would have to be edited in cases where the Employee and Employer have agreed to extend or shorten the rendering period. Aside from this, there are times when an Employee would retract their resignation and with the new feature of having an Expected Separation Date, these adjustments are now made easier! You're probably wondering how this can be done? Keep on reading below to know more!
How to Edit the Expected Separation Date
1. Navigate to the Employee Profile and go to the Work Information tab.
2. Click the Expected Separation Date and set a new date.
In this example, we changed the Expected Separation Date from February 28, 2022, to February 15, 2022.
3. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page. Once done, a confirmation message will appear.
Note:
- To be able to edit the Expected Separation Date, the Employment Status should not be inactive (Resigned, Terminated, etc.). This would mean that the current date is earlier than the Expected Separation Date set.
- If the Expected Separation Date has passed, you would have to update their Employment Status to active (Probationary, Regular, etc.).
How to Remove the Expected Separation Date
1. Navigate to the Employee Profile and go to the Work Information tab.
2. Click the Expected Separation Date and click Clear at the bottom of the date picker.
3. Upon doing so, an information message will appear at the bottom of the Work Information tab label to confirm your action.
4. Click Save at the bottom of the Employee Profile. Once Saved, you will see a confirmation message that the change has been successfully applied.
Note:
The information banner, Expected Separation Date, Separation Date, and Reason for Leaving will be hidden from the Employee’s Work Information. However, this information is logged and retained on our end.
