Pre-Migration Report

What is the Pre Migration Report?

 

The Pre-Migration Report was specifically made to prepare clients for the Employee Profile Sync. It allows HR Champions to validate their current employee data in both Sprout HR and Payroll.

 

How do I use the Pre-Migration Report?

 

HR Champions can use the Pre Migration Report to reconcile any conflicting employee information between the employee profiles in Sprout HR and Sprout Payroll.

The Pre-Migration Report has 3 sheets that show the following:

 

1. Employees with conflicting data in both Sprout HR and Payroll

2. Employees in Sprout HR only

3. Employees in Sprout Payroll only

 

Take note that only employees with conflicting data are included in the report. These are already highlighted in the sheets.

 

What will happen if I disregard the Pre Migration Report and request to turn syncing ON?

 

If you decide to turn on the syncing without reconciling your employees' data, the following will happen:

• For Employees with conflicting data in both Sprout HR and Payroll, the system will pull all government and salary information from Payroll and update it to the government and salary information in the new tab in HR, “Current Payroll Information.”
• For Employees in Sprout HR only, the employee data will not sync with Sprout Payroll but will still be editable in Sprout HR.
• For Employees in Sprout Payroll only, the employee data will not sync with Sprout HR but will still be editable in Sprout Payroll
