We all know that employees can be added either through the Bulk Upload page or Administration Tools. If you're not familiar with any of these, it's best to take a look at the articles below for a quick refresher:
However, have you ever experienced adding a regular employee but their leave credit accruals did not reflect accordingly?
That's because they must first be added to the system as Probationary employees first! Though please note that this would only apply to leave policies that have separate rules for probationary and regular employees. By changing the Employment Status from Probationary to Regular, this would trigger the leave policy to apply the rules for Regular employees.

Once they are added to the system as Probationary employees, you may now change the Employment Status on their Employee Profiles to Regular and affix the correct regularization date. There you have it! A neat little trick that'll save you from manual labor!
Note: You may only be able to add employees as Regular via Bulk Upload but upon doing so, the Employment Status on the Employee Profile should still be changed in order to trigger the leave accruals for regular employees.
